I was hoping that my lil girl would wake me up early this morning so I would be able to catch some of the royal wedding. This did not happen. Of course you can't go anywhere on the internet today without seeing every moment. Here are my faves.

Royal Wedding 4/29/2011

Omg all the coverage is sooo crazy! I mean even the local news down here has a anchor there. If I happen to roll over and catch a glimpse of the wedding at 4am I will watch (even thoughit is going to be replayed a billion times). Oh how I daydreamed about Prince William when I was younger, I had his Teen Beat pictures in my locker, teee heee. I think I even got into a little shoving match with a friend arguing about who was going to marry him, such nerds. My my my how the times have changed him, eeek. Anyway, with everybody getting so excited, I knew I could find some crazier memorabilia. Graicas Google, these are all real gems!

*Review* Cover Girl Natureluxe Gloss Balm

I totally got suckered in by the beautiful Taylor Swift ads but I was pleasantly surprised by how well this works. The color I chose was grenanche, it looks very natural and sheer on my lips, it's very glossy and smooth. The scent reminds me of a lip balm I used as a kid but I loved that because it's like a grown-up version of it. can't wait to try other colors.

Target Tuesday

this is something new I am going to try to do every Tuesday! Found the idea from fabulous but evil's blog. I had a lot of fun picking stuff out for this outfit. Hope y'all are having a great day.

*Review: Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Primer

This product works really well as a primer. It's light weight and my makeup actually stays in place. I also like how it smooths out my complexion and has the added benefit of SPF. The only thing I don't like about it is how it's applied. I find that it takes much too long for the product to seep out of the brush ofter twisting and I end up having way too much product come out. Other than that, it's a great and affordable primer!

*Review" Aveeno Cleansing Pads

I was out and about yesterday and was sweating like a PIG. I was in Target and wanted to get a pack of cheep face wipes. I spotted these bad boys, and just the look of the package SCREAMED refreshment. Get to the car open them up, and start wiping my face. LOL, I swear I am such a dork cause these were not the make-up removing wipes that I had thought....nooo it was a cleansing pad with a TON of soap. LORD HELP my face was covered in suds.

PROZ:
*the pads get pretty soapy once you start rubbing
*great ex foliating side
*has a great fresh and clean smell
*face felt great after, wasn't too hard to get all the soap off
*Price was great ($4 with coupon)

CONZ:
*Only 28 pads...but you can cut them in half
*kind of made my skin tingle after....sometimes I like that, it just felt a little more intense than some others I have tried.
*Don't think they are going to stay moist for too long with the twist on lid (I left the foil wrapper on)

All in all I love Aveeno products. So if you are looking for a simple cleanser and not too expensive these do not disappoint, and the fact that you can cut these in half saves a ton of money. These seem pretty tough on breakouts, I will probably use these every other day.

Things I LOVE Thursday

"April showers, bring May flowers" if this is true I shouldn't see any grass, cause the weather lately has been CRAZY....and it is raining today too. Anywho, hope y'all are having a great day! This is what I am loving today.....

Easter Sunday! It is my daughters first easter, so of course we are making a huge deal out of it. Church in the am, frilly dresses, easter egg hunts, and LOTS of family time.

IPAD &&&how cute is this set up? I think I am a little obsessed with the IPAD....I have dreams about this thing, some of them involve me sticking it in my purse and running off, sometimes I am caught and sometimes I get away muahahahahahahah.

Since I cant afford the IPAD right now, might as well show something else that is on my list!

OPI Silver Shatter Polish &*Essie Haul*

Morning y'all. POLISH CHANGE DAY...lol, lame I know. I was just wondering if anybody out there is going to buy the OPI Silver Shatter when it comes out next month? I was checking it out and I am not sure about it right now.

&&&& I went on kind of a nail polish spree this weekend. I just kind of sneak them in the cart when me and the boy are at Target or Walmart. Essie does a good job of not being so flashy that would cause him to ask questions. ***Note I did not get all of these in one trip, this was a combo of a trip with my mom and then one this weekend with the hubs***

*Review* Clean & Clear Body Wash

I got this wash last week and have used it since. I was using B&BW's Carried Away, but have since put that aside for the Clean & Clear. I picked the Charge, which is Pomegranate and Orange Zest. I wasn't too drawn to the other scents as much as I was with this. The smell definitely gives you are morning wake up, and the soapy suds are great too. I can't wait to finish this bottle and try another scent. It is about $6 for 16oz. It wasn't in the body wash isle at Wal-Mart, it was in the Clean and Clear section in the skin care (it contains no salic acid or anything to treat break outs, it is just a regular old body wash). Just in case you are having trouble finding it.

this will be a day that has forever changed my state. NC was hit hard by the storm that passed through here Saturday. Thankfully, we were not injured and no damage was sustained to our home. My daughter and I were out visiting the easter bunny and were maybe a minute ahead of the storm. These are a couple of pictures I took 5 min after the storm. I have never (and hope to never again) seen anything like this.

Oooh my first "haul" blog. I had a couple coupons from BBW that were expiring this weekend. One was a spend $10 and get a free Signature Item. A print out from facebook for a free preview size of Into the Wild lotion. Me likez. And I used my LUV BBW card and scored a free travel size of True Blue Spa Walnut Foot Scrub! Things I LOVE Thursday

I had the most amazing, fantastic, wonderful day with my Momma. She took a day off work and came here to see us. So she is what I am LOVING the most today (and always). Awweee

I am not a huge fan of American Idol. HOWEVER, Scotty McCreery is the MAN! He is putting Garner, NC on the map. LOVEZ

Saw these today at Target. Drool. I have no idea why I didn't get these. Oh I know, I was too busy telling myself not to forget this.....

I have heard some good stuff about this stuff, smells AMAZING!! I can't wait to wash me body.

**One last LOVE. On my outing today I noticed a cute package at Wal-Mart. Seed Supply Co. Organic Clothing Co.. $3.50 for a T, yes please I will take 3. I am definitely keeping up with them the next time I am in there.

Do any of you guys remember that game? We played it in school. All the students put their heads down on their desks with your thumb up. The teacher chooses one person as “It.” This person goes around touching the thumbs of six other people. If you are touched, you go to the front of the room. You yell "Heads up, 7-up" Everyone raises their heads and tries to guess which of the seven people is “It. LOVEZ it!!

*Review* Essie Sand Tropez

I was at my CVS today, just randomly to kill a little time before a appointment. I was looking at the Essie French Affair display, and realized I have yet to try a nude polish. In the bottle, meh nothing to brag about. On my nails though, LOVE. It has kind of a taupey, greyish tone to it. Me like.

What do yall think? What are your favorite colors for spring?

Phew, it gets so hot in this house. We hardley have any trees around our house, which leaves us pretty exposed to the sun. We try to keep the air off until summer, so sweating it out in this sauna leaves my face feeling disgusting. With a 8 month old I cant just wash my face everytime I feel like it. I have become kind of obsessed with make up removing towelettes. Not only does it cool and refresh, they tone the oil down, and my skin is pretty sensitive and hasn't caused any irritation. Right now I am LOVING Say Yes to Cucumber Facial Towelettes. I get mine at Walgreens , looks like they are $6 for a pack of 30!

If you have tried these what do you think about them? Or do you have a beauty wipe that kicks this ones butt?

Lash Trash

I was reading my Glamour last night and found a couple of things in there that made me go huh? Have yall ever heard of the 6 week mascara? The treatment is called LashDip. How the treatment goes down: You lie back and close your eyes, as the technician ever so lightly nudges up your top lid to apply a mascara-like ink to your lashes. The pliable formula allows the lash to be sculpted in an upward curl, and with as little or as much thickness and length as you want. After several minutes, the ink dries to a glossy hold. So for 6 weeks and $200 bucks you can skip mascara!

Keeping with the eyelash theme. I see this set of false lashes, from Make Up Forever, with the cutest pink gingham bow on them. I am trying to figure out what would be a appropriate event to wear these, lol.
