Things I LOVE Thursday

WOOOP WOOOOP! Its Thursday and there is a huge pork loin cooking in the oven! MMMM its going to be so good yall.

Since I am cooking with a Paula Deen Marinade, it made me think of this HIGHLARIOUS site. Paula Deen riding things (and that is just what it is). See her in the hats from the royal wedding. LOL

Cut one of these up today! Watermelon, cant wait till the ones in our garden start to grow!! &&& Check out this recipe for Watermelon Ice. YUM


1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
a 3-pound piece chilled watermelon
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


In a small saucepan simmer water with sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Transfer syrup to a bowl set in a larger bowl of ice and cold water and stir syrup until cold.
Discard rind from watermelon and cut fruit into 1-inch chunks. In a blender purée watermelon, syrup, and lemon juice and pour through a fine sieve into a 9-inch square metal baking pan, pressing hard on solids. Freeze mixture, covered, until frozen, 6 to 8 hours, and up to 2 days. Just before serving, scrape watermelon ice with a fork to lighten texture and break up ice crystals. Makes about 5 cups, serving 6.

Review: Mac Charged Water

MAC says: "Charged water, fused with vital ions from rhodochrosite to create a powerfully protective hydrating mist to help defend the skin from environmental aggression. Packed with anti-oxidants, its peach-toned hue is imparted by the rhodochrosite itself. Its aroma, is a gentle blend of grapefruit mandarin.”

This stuff is the kick in the pants I need! I have had this in the refrigerator the whole weekend so it is super chilly. Two spritz's of this is all I need. Smells delicious. I am really using this for the refreshing aspect of it.

Some of the uses are:

*to seal in moisture
*sets foundation after applying
*anti-oxidant benefits

The only cons to this is the price. I did get mine at the outlets, so it was half price, 13.00. Sad, they are so far away though. I think I will just let myself indulge for a while.

1. Mac Charged Water....and OMG this stuff is awesome, smells great, makes my face feel super hydrated. I have been on a face mist kick for a little bit now. I keep this in the fridge!

2. Clinique #3 Toner....I hadn't used this since High School and it was cheep soooo, it was mine.

3. Mac Highland Honey Blush....I have always wanted a peachy blush, and I am loving this stuff!

Bath & Body Works

1. Country Chic Body Wash...I am not sure if this is my scent...I may have to take it back. eeek

2. Flower Shop & Frosted Cupcake Candle....I am burning the cupcake right now and it smells DELICIOUS!!

4. &&& It was the last month for the I LUV BBW Club so I picked up my last gifts.....s'mores pocket bac, preview size of Salty Caramel Candle, and a preview of the new coconuts (coconut passion fruit)

I was running around all day yesterday and came home with a MASSIVE headache, so I didn't get to post. So I am today...teee heee.
